PSC Academy administers federal and state financial aid programs to assist
students with their education beyond high school. Financial aid is
determined on the availability of funds and the students demonstrated needs. Financial need is the difference in the costs you will have to pay to attend school and the total amounts of money that you and your parents are expected to pay (as determined by the various financial aid programs) to meet those costs. A financial aid handbook is available upon request from the Financial Aid Department.

- FEDERAL FINANCIAL AID (THE PELL GRANT) -- If you qualify for a Federal Pell Grant, you can receive non-repayable funds depending upon the school costs and the income of your parents or spouse. Since recent program changes have allowed more and more students to receive these grants, apply for a PELL Grant even if your parents earn over $25,000 a year.
- STAFFORD STUDENT LOAN Program -- The Stafford Loan Program is cooperative effort of private lending institutions such as banks, savings and loan associations and reedits unions and state and federal governments. If you qualify, you can secure a long-term low interest educational loan.
- PLUS Program Loans -- Plus Loans are auxiliary loans designed to assist you, the student, and are part of another cooperative effort with lending institutions. If you are a dependent under-graduates can also obtain loans for themselves under PLUS, minus what they’ve borrowed under GSL. Applications can be obtained from participating lending institutions.
